It was a beautiful day of rowing the Yampa. I was sleeping on the beach this night and I decided to do some night shooting. The moon was coming out and casting unusual patterns on the canyon walls.
This night presented a rare opportunity to capture both moonlight and the stars. Yampa Canyon is one of Colorado's canyon treasures.
The next morning I awoke at daybreak and sat on the beach sipping fine coffee watching the Sun light up the same canyon.
