In 1946 a Tsunami roared into the Valley of Kings and took it out to sea. This valley is the ancestral home of the island kings for centuries.
Now it serves as a launching pad for horse back riding. 95% of the plants grown in the valley are edible.
The road down is described as the worst maintained county road in America. In comparison to the dirt roads of the western U.S., it is a piece of cake.
