Lake Isabelle is an unusual lake to say the least. When it is full it is breath taking in all of it's high alpine beauty. But when the ice dam melts, the level of the lake drops over 20 feet, revealing many of the lake bottom features.

I have never seen this anywhere before. This is currently under investigation and the causation may yet change.
