As we rode along the Escalante the land became more jagged and rough. Finally it hit a high point and I stopped and set up for this shot.
The Escalante National Monument is a hard core wilderness area. Hiking here will expose you to scenes like this one and formations you could never have imagined. This one should not be taken lightly.
