The day was very quiet as Fridays usually are in this park. The only sound I could hear was the splashing of hidden ducks in the lilly pads. Once in a while, I could hear twigs snapping as huge moose travel from lake to meadow and back again.
In a place known for howling winds, not even a breeze blew today.
