Long Lake was in fine shape on this day. Everything in the park was dead calm. We were out to visit the high alpine lakes and this was the first one. I stayed here an extra half hour because there was a very contemplative mood hanging over my thoughts as I worked this scene. There was no hurry to move along, it was not going to get any nicer than it was right at this moment.
