In the left hand side of this image are the always beautiful Maroon Bells. These are the two most photographed peaks in the State of Colorado. The ridgeline shown here is seldom photographed and almost never shown in context with the rest of the scene. None the less, when you are in this valley for sunrise, these magnificent peaks will certanly get your attention. This is the shoreline that will hold well over 300 photographers on some mornings, while other mornings I get the place to myself.
If you are looking for the very heart of Colorado, the very sweetest spot in the entire State, this is it!
