One morning I was shooting the Maroon Bells outside of Aspen when I got this tingle up my spine. The lake beside me to the left was exploding with color and new light. The composition of trees and water clarity made this shot one of a kind.This shot became as important as the one I traveled 200 miles for. It made sleeping in the parking lot worth it.
One of the most photographed places in the state, the history of Colorado is reflected in this old mill.
