For three days the rain fell in the valley. Clouds blew in and the mountains were heavily socked in. Once in a while they would recede enough to show a fresh coat of snow on the Bells.
I waited in the valley for the entire time just in case things changed to the point that a spectatular opportunity came about. It did not.
On the third day, the morning was clear and bright. The day started with clarity seen only after a heavy storm. This picture took three days to make and was worth the wait.
