The Flatirons
Mount Moran - Grand Teton National Park
Display previous imageDisplay next image

I fell in love with this shot the very first minute I saw it. Mount Moran is in Teton National Park and this oxbow lake was previously part of the Snake River before it was cut off.

The sweeping majesty of this most remarkable park is impossible to deny. It screams at you the entire time you are in front of it. There is an overwhelming urge to walk around the lake when you see it.

No wonder I stop here every time through the park. When I think of Spring and early Summer, it is this scene that comes to mind often. It is on my schedule to shoot this year, no matter what year this is.
