Alpenglow

Three mornings in a row and there was no good sunlight to be had. All this fresh snow and no way to get a good picture of it. Finally after waiting for the weather to clear up for three days, we got our baby blue sky.

Ladies that walked by for the last three days made sure they stopped by to ask if I was able to capture this morning.

Happily I answered, "Yes, I did manage to get a few good shots."

The red color is the natural color of early sunlight, and it lasts only for a few minutes.

And only on very good mornings.
