Desert View
I felt like I could reach out and touch the mountains in the distance. The entire wash seemed like it emptied out right at the base of the mountains. Ridge lines all collapsed at a single point as if they were showing the way to get to the peaks.
I have long had a love affair with the La Sal Mountains. They provide such a sense of opposites when viewed against the desert foreground. In scenes like this one, there is so much to examine that this image could easily keep a person busy for hours.
