Courthouse Wash
When I saw this landscape there was no doubt that I would be here at sunrise. The canyon walls are tall and magnificent. The wall face has so many interesting spaces and rock faces that one could walk along the edge and marvel for days.
The Courthouse Towers can be seen in the left side of the formation. This is part of the entry drive into the park. Driving through these magnificent formations gives you the strong sense, all at once, that you are indeed in a national park. The sensation is unmistakable. I get the same feeling in all the great parks of the West.
