Delicate Arch
This is the premier spot in the entire park. The hike is a short one at three miles in length. You climb up less than a thousand feet. The final few hundred yards are knife edge cliffs that become more exposed as you go.
That certainly did not stop a hoard of people from climbing up for sunset. This is the highest and best place in the park to observe sunset.
Delicate Arch is one of the most photographed spots in the West. The strong arch set against the La Sal Mountains provides a breath taking experience. There is quite a drop off on the other side of this arch and quite a party on this side of it.
