Bryce Badlands

In a narrow strip of special landscape, Bryce Canyon extends for a few miles in a North-South direction and less than a mile East of the canyon rim. The badlands create a system of narrow canyons and spires that defy the laws of nature in the most artistic way. The canyons are laced with beautiful forests of pine.

Hiking among the formations is other worldly. At times the hues overwhelm the senses and the scenes become almost too colorful to understand. All the time a new pattern or wave of color comes into play and takes you away on a new visual dream.
