A full day of canyon crawling was ahead just after breakfast. But by climbing out of my sleeping bag a little early and jumping up behind the campground, I got a nice view of Zion canyon at dawn. This canyon starts out more than a mile wide only to narrow down so arms extended to both sides is enough to touch both canyon walls at the same time.
